In the seven years since owner/chef Jason Crockarell opened Flavor Catering, we have grown and expanded in many directions. Our partnerships in the Music Industry and Corporate Events have equally shared the attention of our Brides looking to make their special day one to remember. What began in a borrowed kitchen with a staff of one has blossomed into a staple for culinary excellence and service.

Flavor’s staffs of chefs and servers bring many years of experience to the table, with the goal of providing eatable entertainment. With each new event, our team works together to ensure that your experience is one of a kind. Flavor’s experts work to provide a little extra zest with each menu item, and realize that sometimes it’s the small things that can make your event the most memorable.

Jason began his career in Nashville as an entertainment caterer for movies and other productions. He was asked to join the culinary staff at the historic Merchant’s Restaurant as a line cook. Over the years he was promoted to Sous Chef and continued up the ranks until he became Corporate Chef. At that point, he left to assist Green Hills Grille in their expansion of three new restaurants.

It was at this point in his career, which involved high amounts of travel, that he decided to take his profession in a direction that would allow him to be home each evening with his beautiful wife and now, two daughter. Thus, Flavor Caters was born.

“At Flavor we attract clients who are looking to take their event to a new level of originality and excitement. And that can mean an intimate dinner for six, an extravagant wedding for 600, or a corporate event for 1,600.” ~ Jason

In the few short years we have been in business, Flavor has created meals with flair for clients including The Schermerhorn Symphony Center, AEG Live, The Ryman Auditorium, Fontanel, CMA, Ingram Ingram Content Group, Vanderbilt Medical Center, HealthSpring, HCA and Universal Music Group just to mention a few.

“Our desire is customize a menu that exceeds your expectations and represents the style of service you are looking for,” Jason enthuses. “We try our best to serve without limitations by providing the most colorful, flavorful and exceptional cuisine possible at each event. If a client wants to eat it, we’ll find a way to serve it in the most tantalizing and cost-efficient way possible.”  It is this platform that sets Flavor above the rest. For they aim to not only please, but to make feasting dreams come true.
